From Bariloche to San Martin de los Andes “South lakes”  

Location: In Río Negro and Neuquen provinces, next to the Andes Mountains (1600 km from Capital Federal).

Duration: 9 days.

Activities: We arrive in Bariloche city (Rio Negro province), at the Hostel where we rest after a long trip and enjoy the fantastic views of Nahuel Huapi Lake.    

 Day 1:  Incredible cross-country in direction to Laguna LLum.

(20 km of amazing single tracks)

Day 2: Uphill to Cerro Otto and downhill to Gutierrez Lake. (25 km of single tracks and stone paths)

Day 3: We get to the top of Cerro Catedrál, the famous ski center, by cable car and then ride the best downhill of your life. (25 km of single tracks and rocky paths).

Day 4: Departure to Villa la Angostura by Minibus. We arrive at midday and after lunch we go to Cerro Bayo. We get to the top by cable car and we start, after one of the best views of the region, an exciting downhill. (18 km of downhill over stone paths)

Day 5: We go over Península de Quetrihué where legends say that Walt Disney inspired himself to create "Bambi" and going over a wonderful trail we arrive to a unique Arrayanes forest.

(24km of single tracks and 6km of pavement)

Day 6: We depart by vehicle through the "7 lakes road" towards San Martin de los Andes. We arrive at 15hs and set up the camp. Noon and free night. 

Day 7: We travel by minibus, early in the morning to Quila Quina, a beautiful small villa located next Lacar Lake. We spend all day enjoying the sun and the Lacar's lake beaches and we then a another exciting uphill and downhill to go back to San Martin de los Andes.

We arrive at the camp, take it down and leave towards Buenos Aires (6 km uphill and incredible 12 km downhill over rocky path)

Day 8: We arrive Buenos Aires in the afternoon

Note:  if plane is not required, land transportation is about 22 hours traveling.
