During winter we still operate this "CLASSIC PATAGONIA" but keep in mind that by the end of April there are hardly any penguins left in the colony after their nest, although we have an excursion to Rio Chubut, visiting Gaiman, a typical welsh colony and its beautiful landscape. Also you will discover another Argentina's natural wonder: the southern right whale, while every winter, when some 600 of these enormous mammals (only about 5,000 in the world) make their way into the warm waters surrounding Puerto Piramide, where we'll start a boat trip to enjoy this unique spectacle. At Ushuaia, we'll spend and additional night as the winter season is ideal to enjoy its ski centers. Also, we'll visit the Huskies' Valley, as well as a sail through the Beagle Channel. At El Calafate we shall spend just one night, because during winter time is not always available the excursion to Upsala glacier.
