Day 1 - Salta

Reception at Salta airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the Cathedral, with outstanding polychrome and gold ornaments. Visit the San Francisco Church, San Bernardo Hill with a magnificent view of the city and outskirts. Return to hotel. Dinner at restaurant.

Day 2 - Salta

Continental breakfast. Full day excursion to Cafayate, a beautiful village in the heart of the Calchaquies Valleys passing through Cerrillos, Alemania, and the Río Las Conchas Gorge which has been declared National Monument because of its extraordinary formations on the rocks eroded by the wind and time, with shapes like El Anfiteatro (The Amphitheatre), Los Castillos (The Castles), El Obelisco (The Obelisk). Lunch. In Cafayate we will visit a winery and an Indian Art Museum. Return to Salta.

Day 3 - Salta

Continental breakfast. Early departure for a drive along the historic Humahuaca Gorge, passing Leon, Volcan, Tumbaya, Tilcara with its archeological museum and the old indian fortress (Pucara), and Uquia Church, finally arriving in Humahuaca. Lunch Visit to the Northern Carnival Museum, the Handicraft Fair and Belgrano’s Belvedere. Return to hotel.

Day 4 - Salta

Continental breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
