Wine Tour Mendoza - San Rafael

Day 1 - Mendoza

Reception at local airport. Transfer to the hotel. City tour visiting major points of interest, such as, the banks area, main Churches and squares, museums, General San Martín avenue, The Alameda (poplar cove), San Francisco ruins, General San Martín park and La Gloria Hill, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2 - Mendoza

Continental breakfast. Departure visit the most renowned wine cellars in Mendoza: La Rural, with its Museum of Wine. The next one is Trapiche where we taste a delicious asado (barbeque) and empanadas with the wine produced by this cellar. Finally we visit Lopez wine cellar. Return to the city.

Day 3 - Mendoza

Continental breakfast. Departure for a full day tour along interesting places such as the picturesque town of Potrerillos located in a colorful valley and surrounded by the snowed peaks of the Andes. Later, crossing the valley of Uspallata we reach Puente del Inca, a natural rocks formation which is the main international crossing to Chile. Continue to Las Cuevas and stop to admire the Aconcagua (6959 mts) the highest mountain in the American continent. If weather conditions allows it, we will ascend by a mountain road to the Cristo Redentor (The Redeemer), old frontier pass. Coming back, we stop again at Puente del Inca for lunch and to take some pictures or enjoy walking in the area. Return to the hotel.

Day 4 - Mendoza / San Rafael

Continental breakfast. Departure to San Rafael. By the way we visit Chandon cellar, producer of champagne. Arriving at San Rafael, we stop at another wine cellar: Bianchi, which will allow us to taste and admire the southern wines of the region. Return to San Rafael. Accommodation.

Day 5 - San Rafael

Continental breakfast. Departure to visit Atuel Canyon; geological fault, which originated a colorful stone formation. Visit to the dams of Valle Grande and Nihuil which provide energy to the city. In the afternoon return to the city.

Day 6 - San Rafael

Continental breakfast. Transfer to local airport to board flight to Buenos Aires.
